COVID vaccine for under 5y!

Now that it has been officially approved by the CDC, we are going to start offering the COVID vaccine to children who are 6 months through 4 years old! This now means that any child who is 6 months of age or older can get vaccinated for COVID.

• We have decided to stock the Moderna vaccine for the 6 month to 5 year old population, as it is only a two shot series (versus three for Pfizer)

• We will be offering this vaccine (at first) only through specific shot clinics which will be starting next week

We will not be scheduling these on the patient portal as we have done previously for flu shot clinics; please call the office if you would like an appointment for a COVID vaccine for your child who is 6 months old through the 5th birthday.
