Michelle (Bernardi) Ture

I was born and raised in Rochester, and only left to attend Binghamton University, which had an excellent nursing program. There, I was blessed to have an immensely passionate pediatrics professor willing to commute with us to Upstate Children’s Hospital in Syracuse for a valuable pediatric rotation.  It was in that first pediatric rotation that I took care of several high-risk children in their Pediatric ICU, and knew that I couldn’t see myself in any other specialty. After graduating from college, I went on to receive my master’s from the University of Rochester and became board certified in Pediatrics by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. I have spent the past 10+ years working in pediatrics. In 2014, I transitioned from the fast-paced pediatric emergency department to a role in primary care. I feel privileged to work in primary care as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and love the bonds created with children and their families. When I’m not at work, you can find me outside enjoying the rare sunny days we have here in Rochester.  I live in Fairport with my boyfriend, and I love barre, hiking, traveling, cooking, and bike riding the canal path
